Roxy Rapedius’ decades of professional experience include progressively increasing responsibility and measurable positive results. Roxy has built significant and unique skills through these roles. She has experience in life coaching, public speaking, training, teaching, behavioral analysis, addiction, trauma, mental health, palliative support, grief and bereavement support, opioid dependency treatment, finance, insurance, event planning, financial planning, environmental development, immigration, dental, and banking.

Roxy has extensive experience in volunteer work especially as a member of a board. She volunteers with the Bob Kemp Hospice in Hamilton as a Grief Activity Facilitator for Camp Erin, Palliative Support Worker, and Grief & Bereavement Group Support Facilitator.  Roxy also volunteered for the Zonta Club of Oakville as a Member and Vice-President, Zonta Club of Brampton-Caledon as a member, Zonta International District 4 Board as Treasurer, Hamilton Grant Review Team, Ontario Trillium Foundation, Public Appointment Secretariat as a member, Junior Achievement of Central Ontario: Economic for Success as a grade 8 Tutor, Hamilton Girls’ Hockey Association as a Board Director and Treasurer, Sturgeon Falls Chamber of Commerce as a Board Director, Habitation Supreme Inc., as a Board Director, L’ACFO, North Bay as a Board Director and Ottawa Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa as a Big Sister, Group Leader and Orientation Trainer.

Roxy completed a Bachelor of General Arts at the University of Ottawa, the Basic Accreditation Course at the Council for Continuing Pharmaceutical Education (CCPE), the Addiction Program at McMaster University in Hamilton, Trauma Counselling on the Online Counselling College based in Alberta, Certified Life Coach through the Certified Coaches Federation, Certified Coach, Speaker, Teacher, Trainer, and DISC Behavioral Analysis Consultant with the John Maxwell Team. She has also completed many professional development courses including the Not-For-Profit Governance Essential Program at the Institute of Corporate Directors, University of Toronto and Grief, Bereavement, and Palliative Training at Dr. Bob Kemp Hospice.

Roxy loves playing hockey, golf, bowling, cooking, baking, painting, reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband, stepdaughters, family and friends.

Having challenging health issues of her own, Roxy understands the concept of bringing alternative natural therapies and solutions to achieve health and wellness in one’s home.  Roxy is very passionate and dedicated on enhancing the lives of those she touches by helping them reach their goals.  Roxy believes that wellness matters in every aspect of our life:  physical health, environmental (including our home, our community, and the world itself ), personal / work life and financial.
